I represented a Company Director who was under suspicion of false accounting – said to cover up ‘bribes and bungs’ in the SFO’s investigation into the activities of Rolls Royce PLC. Pre charge representations dismantled the SFO’s case on breaches of Indian procurement Law, after my team, with me, consulted experts in India, who contradicted the SFO’s assumptions. Case dropped.
