My client, a barrister, was accused of sexually assaulting his client’s girlfriend in his office waiting room. There were no independent witnesses. Through my questioning, the girlfriend was found to be unreliable, because I established inconsistencies between her various accounts, and contradicted her with expert evidence. My client was found not guilty.
